Summary and Qualifications:

MVH L+D works to coordinate and align development of Flagship programs that apply across all our business units; this role is critical to creating and managing the coordination and alignment among MVH and the business unit learning teams.

As MVH Learning programs are scoped, resources are identified and audience is defined, the change management and communications throughout the project definition and planning for launch are critical to creating awareness and activating the learning solutions.

Defining processes that ensure the MVH L+D team and business unit Learning teams are operating effectively as partners, listening and identifying recommendations that help the various Learning team associates work collaboratively.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Define and develop key learning operational processes, i.e., project intake, defining outcomes, and collaborate with business unit learning leads to operationalize processes for Flagship development projects.
  • Contribute to designated Learning projects to articulate the change management for Learning Leads consideration in conjunction with the deployment.
  • Partner with Corporate Affairs on developing Learning program communications for Flagship programs.
  • Create presentations that help tell the MVH L+D story utilizing data and incorporating the learning strategy directed towards MVH as well as business unit senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of customer/project metrics that ensure key stakeholders are clear on the outcomes and impact of learning programs, often in partnership with MVH L+D Development teams.
  • Drive Learning operational activities utilizing processes and data to inform business unit and MVH Learning teams, i.e., proposed Flagship Learning projects, Audience impact, project status reporting, etc.
  • Collaborate with MVH L+D Associates and business unit Learning Leads to define Flagship program development standards, evolving the L+D Playbook to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Special Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
  • Environment where pets are present.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Program Management, or Adult Learning is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • 8 years’ of experience of relevant professional experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Learning and Development and Program Management is required.
  • Excellent ability to create processes and efficiency is required.
  • Experience working within PMO, Employer Branding, or Program Management team is preferred.
  • Global internal communications experience is required.
  • Storyline experience is preferred.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Salary: $118,00 - $175,000
