This part-time summer position offers valuable paid work experience* while learning first-hand about the veterinary profession from practice leaders, industry experts, and most of all – from our passionate and caring hospital teams. What you’ll be doing

As a NextVet™ intern, you’ll spend most of your time behind-the-scenes in one of our veterinary hospitals, where you’ll see our team in action and shadow a range of positions including veterinarians and credentialed veterinary technicians.

You’ll also participate virtually in group sessions exploring many different aspects of the veterinary industry, receive ongoing support form our local doctors and market leaders, and have a chance to connect with Banfield leaders.

Ideal candidates should:

• Love science and have an interest in animal careers.
• Be curious and a self-starter.
• Be proficient at multi-tasking, including cuddling a kitten while giving them a scratch behind the ears.
