Penn Foster + Banfield Veterinary Technician Program
Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician training program is a challenging program designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to become a Veterinary Technician. Emphasis is placed on gaining real-world hands-on experience through clinical externships. Courses are online and allow for a flexible schedule for the student to earn their degree.
Through Banfield's sponsored Veterinary Technician degree program, eligible Associates receive tuition assistance each semester and additional tuition reimbursements upon becoming a Credentialed Technician.
Program Eligibility Requirements
Associates must meet all of the following minimum criteria for consideration:- Have 90 days tenure as a regular, primary Banfield Associate prior to application.
- Associate must also maintain their primary assignment with Banfield throughout their program.
- Received a "Meets expectations" on your most recent performance review, if applicable.
- Not have an active Performance Improvement Plan on file.
- Have not canceled or re-enrolled in Banfield’s sponsored program previously.
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, as required by Penn Foster.
