Overview:

The primary purpose and function of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide proactive and actionable insight to MVH finance leadership and to drive operational execution decisions.

This position will include collaboration with MVH finance associates as well as associates at each of the three business units.

This role will be responsible for partnering with analysts across MVH to develop best practices and aligned methodologies to analyze key operational metrics across the units.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.

  • Assist in the completion of the periodic, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements to MVH and Mars.

  • Create and present financial analysis necessary to measure the financial results and guide future business decisions.

  • Develop key business decisions and solutions by gathering, reviewing and analyzing data.

  • Prepare insightful and informative presentation material on the financial results of the group.

  • Partner with cross functional teams to gather and analyze data critical to operational execution.

  • Assist in the development of business intelligence reports.

  • Design and document dashboards, alerts, and reports for operations analysis.

  • Interact with IT and Finance to develop business intelligence solutions.

  • Develop automation solutions to streamline business processes.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting is required, MBA is preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in Finance is required.

  • Experience with development of financial models, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis is required.

  • Experience working in multi-site, multi-state environment is preferred.

  • Experience developing reports in Power BI is required.

  • Experience with or willingness to learn Anaplan report development is required; experience in Oracle Cloud & Essbase is a plus.

  • Healthcare background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $128,000/year
