Banfield's New Area Chief of Staff Role

Check Out Open Roles

What is the Area Chief of Staff role?

The Area Chief of Staff role is designed to be a hybrid position, where doctors split their time between mentoring hospital teams within a specified area and practicing as a DVM in the hospital seeing pets. The role was designed for doctors interested in coaching other veterinary professionals while continuing to see pets.

What could an Area Chief of Staff schedule look like?

For Dr. Benjamin Macuil-Rojas, "I split my time 50/50. For half of my days, I see patients like any other Banfield doctor: surgeries, helping sick pets, and keeping healthy pets healthy! The other half, I do hospital visits and meet with my teams, whom I'm in touch with frequently".
